Why Emirates Old Trafford Is The Ultimate Multi-Day Event Venue

A multi-day event requires a flexible venue, one that can host a number of activities and can hold a varied capacity. Emirates Old Trafford offers just that: a flexible, multi-purpose conference and events venue and world-class international sporting stadium ideally located in Manchester.

The key to hosting a successful multi-day event lies with your satisfied delegates and by providing them with a spacious, accommodating venue, you can be sure they’ll have a positive experience.

Here are our reasons why Emirates Old Trafford is the ultimate multi-day event venue:

Located in the heart of the North, Emirates Old Trafford is a flexible, multi-purpose events venue, known for its world-class international cricket pitch in Manchester. Due to the city’s excellent transport links, getting to and from the venue is made easy. Throughout the multi-day event, your delegates can travel in and out of the city as they please, giving them the chance to see a bit of Manchester during their trip.

If your delegates are travelling in via plane, Manchester airport is six miles south of the venue. If you’re opting for public transport, Manchester has a number of lines on the Metrolink, multiple train stations that connect many railway lines, as well as bus routes and a Metroshuttle. Finally, if your visitors are heading to us by car, we have clear directions on our website. On arrival, you don’t need to worry about finding a place to park, we have 700 parking spaces available.

The Hilton Garden Inn is the four-star hotel at Emirates Old Trafford, boasting 150 bedrooms across five floors, 85 of which overlook the world-famous Lancashire Cricket pitch and can be transformed into hospitality boxes during events. You’ll also find an on-site resident’s gym and business centre. Book into our relaxing Garden Grille and Bar for a full English breakfast, delicious meal and after a busy day of activities, settle into the evening with a cocktail or cold craft beer in the Lounge.

Having a venue that boasts on-site accommodation is a massive bonus because it enables you to offer this to your delegates. Having to try and find accommodation for every one of your multi-day event visitors could be quite a task, however, Emirates Old Trafford's event space accommodate up to 2,000 delegates. This gives your visitors the option to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city if they prefer, or alternatively can easily head into the centre for an evening of Manchester festivities.
