THE PREMIER conference and exhibition for the computing industry – DataCentres North 2016 – will take place in The Point at Emirates Old Trafford over two days starting on Wednesday.
DataCentres North 2016 is regarded as the leading conference for the computer industry behind the Northern Powerhouse and is applicable to everyone from those involved with smaller server-rooms and comms-rooms to the staff responsible for operations, NOC, IT, networking and facilities management, at large co-location, corporate and cloud data centres.
Supported by the Data Centre Alliance, British Computer Society Data Centre SIG, techUK, DATACENTRE.ME, DCN, NCN and other influential organisations, the DataCentres North 2016 Conference has three main streams: strategy, operational and mission critical infrastructure.
Mark Acton, Critical Services Director, CBRE Global Workspace Solutions, said: “The British Computer Society Data Centre SIG are pleased to support DataCentres North as we believe that there is a need for an event specifically addressing the issues related to datacentres and other Mission Critical environments outside London.”
Head of Sales at Emirates Old Trafford, Michele Somers, added: “The capacity and versatility of The Point really sets Emirates Old Trafford apart and enables us to host conferences and exhibitions of this calibre.
“Following on from the success of ProlificNorthLive last week, we are really looking forward to hosting DataCentres North.”
There will be 26 exhibitors in The Point with seminars taking place in the Mezzanine, Williams BMW Suite and Brown Shipley Suite
